Yilan, Taiwan - Travel Photography

I had been to Taiwan a few times. I don't usually revisit places on vacations I had been to as I will prefer to explore new places. But the wife likes Taiwan so have to make it happen ;) However, we tried to cover new areas while having our base at Taipei.

When we first visited Taiwan, we covered only Taipei City, the 2nd time we went to Taichung and this time around with our little one, we decided to include Yilan and we got a driver to drive us around which is easier with kids. Our 3 days in Yilan was well spent with full of activities.

Photography gear used - Insta360 One, Sony a6500 with Sigma 30mm f1.4, Huawei mate20.

Lucky Art Crayon factory

We reached Yilan in noon. Our guide picked us up at the airport and sent us straight to Lucky Art Crayon factory. It's pretty good for kids. You get to make crayons and markers and we used them during our trip and on our flight back.

Mummy drawing her favourite panda on her hand.

One of the meat soup eateries we went to. A good dish when the weather is cold.

Luodong Night Market

Vintage arcade games at Luodong Night Market. She totally enjoyed herself! And we stayed right at the night market so this is our daily dinner/supper place and her daily spot.

My favourite food in Taiwan. Had it every night for supper.

Day 2 she woke up early waiting for daddy and mummy to be ready. Couldn't wait to be out!

E-Long Goat Farm Yilan

Little one feeding carrot lollipop to the bunnies at E-Long Goat Farm.

宜蘭傳藝中心, National Center for Traditional Arts Yilan

Shopping at 宜蘭傳藝中心, National Center for Traditional Arts. Interesting shopping street. You can find local art works, apparels and food here.

Showing off her huge sticky candy biscuit!

Ended our day back at Luodong Night Market after this.

Heavy taste Dr.Fish Yilan

Day 3 we had our foot massage at Heavy taste Dr.Fish. There were over 10 different fish "pond" for you to experience different fish type and size.
