What comes to your mind when you hear Barcelona? FC Barcelona? Sagrada Familia? Picasso Muesum?
Yes all of these.. and not forgetting the amazing catalan cuisine! It's so good!
We were there for 4 nights and we wished for more!
Sagrada Familia is far more than just beautiful, its astonishing and seeing it from the outside cant do it justice! The interior is delicate and may actually outshine the exterior with the lightings and tinted glass windows!
Interior of Sagrada Familia. Look at the artwork on the ceiling!
Selfie outside a cathedral in the gothic quarter.
La Boqueria Market. A large food market along the popular La Rambla. Colorful, crowded and busy. Best place for finger food or dine in at one of its bar restaurants.
One of the catalan restaurants near our hotel. I have to say this again, catalan food is amazing! Anyone knows any good catalan restaurants in Singapore?!
The must-order tomato bread at Paco Meralgo, recommended by one of the locals sitting beside us . The food here is great, service is excellent!
Casa Batlló, another famous masterpiece by Antoni Gaudí. It's best viewed at night!
Park Güell, again by Antoni Gaudí! Book your tickets before hand as they only allow a very limited number of visitors at a given timeslot. We were there at 1030am and the next available slot is at 230pm!
View of the magnificent Sagrada Familia from Park Guell.
We had countless take-aways from Wok to Walk. Great tasty food!
Barcelona is vibrance and beautiful(probably due to Antoni Gaudí :)). Food is much affordable comparing to other european cities. People here are friendly and lively. We will definitely visit Barcelona again and also other cities within Spain!
