Kaohsiung, Taiwan - Travel Photography

Kaohsiung is known for its harbor, although more for commercial than tourism reasons. Our stay in Kaohsiung is short, just for 1 night, as we wanted to allocate more days in Taipei. So we planned for areas around our hotel which was at Minsheng 1St Road. The Shinkuchan Shopping District and Liuhe Night Market were just 5-10mins walk from our hotel. We did go to E-da outlet mall which we took a cab.

Our plan for Kaohsiung was mainly for shopping and food. Even though there was an interesting amusement park beside E-da mall, we gave it a pass for the mall :)

Photography gear used - Nikon D7000 with Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 and Nikon D5100 with Tamron 17-50mm f2.8.

Colourful artwork at Kaohsiung Station.

If you realised, only one door is real...

At Shinkuchan Shopping District. Thankfully for the good weather, it was a good day shopping at the outdoor shopping street. The things were very affordable too.

Beautiful pink sky!

We shopped for the whole day, as our time in Kaohsiung was pretty precious.

When night comes, we went to Liuhe Night Market for dinner and supper takeaways.

Puppies for sale! so adorable! But they all looked very restless.

The crowd is crazy here!

The next day, we took a cab to E-da Outlet Mall.

This amusement park is right beside. It was pretty crowded at the entrance so we gave it a pass.

Very empty mall.. Maybe it was still early.

European inspired.
